Greetings
I had wanted to do some community activity with guitar since when I moved in Katsushikaku in 2011. And finally I have set up "Tomee Katsushika Classic Guitar Club" in 2022, not only to teach guitar technique but also promote the communication between the people in Katsushikaku. Hope this club will also be a place for local people including foreigners to learn each other.
Profile
Born in Taito-ku, Tokyo. I graduated from Keio University and then studied political science at University of Texas at San Antonio from 1991-1993. Then, I had worked for NGO for a long time until 2021 in Japan.
Regarding the guitar, I learned it with Mr. Norio Kimura as Junior high school student for 2 years and restarted it with him when entered Keio university. I also learned it with Gerald Klickstein for 1 term and with Mathew Dunne for 3 terms at University of Texas at San Antonio. I was not a music major student but they gave me a special permission.
Guitar Lesson
● The lesson is at my house (Tateishi 5 Chome）or some public spaces in Katsushika-ku.
● The lesson at my house is available anytime between 10 AM to 9 PM every day.
● The time of the lesson at public space depends on the lots for the space.
I announce it in the blog.
● One lesson is about 50 minutes.
● In case of handing out copied paper for lesson, you will pay for it (\10 - 50 for one lesson.)
● Please prepare for classic guitar, foot stand, and music stand for yourself.
Fork guitar (steel-strings guitar) and electric guitar are not available.

Home lesson
● Basic course
① Face to face/On-line : \6,000 for 4 times / \ 3,000 for 2 times a month.
② Group lesson(2-3 persons) : Fee above divided by the number of students.
● Middle level course
Face to face only : \ 7,000 for 4 times / \3,500 for 2 times a month
※ No lesson on 5th week.
※ Necessary to take face to face lesson once a month for on-line lesson student.
Public space lesson
● Basic course
2 - 8 persons with 12 times or so : \ 1,000 for one time for one person.
● Course for mastering targeted music
2 - 8 persons with certain times depending on the music : \ 1,000 for one time for one person.
※ The space and the time are changeable because they depend on the lots. I inform them if chang
※ The fee is \ 1,500 if there is only one student for one class.
Free Lesson at Katsushika Symphony Hills
I have free lesson in the practice room there once or twice a month.
① If you play the guitar, please bring it and show your performance.
② If not, I will show you about the right posture, finger movements and so on.
Then, I will suggest you about the direction of the future lessons you go through.
Please decide to take it or not.
